Learners aged 13 and up: iOS 1.1

The upcoming iOS 1.1 version is prepared for learners aged 13 and up, including AI question generation from their study guides. Before access, it asks for a band: 13–15, 16–17 or 18+. We do not ask for a birthdate or identity document. Minors must obtain permission from a parent or guardian before continuing. This is a permission declaration, not independent guardian authentication or documentary age verification. This flow applies to iOS 1.1; earlier versions retain their existing access journey. AI availability is checked on the server before processing each request.

The OpenAI project used for minor requests uses Zero Data Retention. This setting does not extend to Apple, email or other services’ backups. Guides are extracted on device; only the selected text is shared after notice and authorization. Avoid names, contact details, school identifiers or other private information. AI can make mistakes: check answers against your material and seek help from a trusted adult or teacher when appropriate.

The account stores the declared band, policy version and date; account deletion removes them. The device retains the account-linked confirmation and a non-reversible credential identifier. For minors, AI input and output are checked before displaying results. Safety reports store only reason, feature, account reference and date, not guides, answers or audio. Those metadata are removed with the account or by hourly cleanup once older than 30 days. Jorge, Quizterview’s designated operator, reviews safety reports and support requests daily, records resolutions and handles deletion requests. Review is not an emergency service or continuous monitoring. The local sample needs no account and sends no content to AI.

On iOS 26.2 or later we check Apple’s signal to determine whether its regional age flow is required. When applicable, Apple asks to share an age range; we do not receive a birthdate or identity documents. We do not allow a choice older than that range permits. If Apple requires significant-update permission, the app presents its parent request or adult notice before personalized access. The device stores only an opaque request reference, its state, the update version and a digest of the Quizterview account; account deletion removes these. This is separate from Screen Time app-protection authorization.

Quizterview for Android

On Android, create an account with your email and a sign-in code, or use Google. Our Railway service encrypts your account name, email and identifier and keeps the records needed to verify and revoke sessions. Google handles account selection; we do not receive your Google password. Local credentials are protected with Android Keystore and connections use HTTPS.

Your selected PDF/TXT files, photos and camera captures are read on the device. Original files are not uploaded to our servers or OpenAI. After your initial personalization authorization, your role, skills, studies, activities, extracted study or job-description text, language and recent questions are sent to our service and OpenAI to prepare questions automatically. Your account name and email are not added to these requests. Imported text may contain personal information: remove it before use. On Android, automatic preparation is part of the app's operation and has no optional switch. You can leave without authorizing it; erasing learning data or deleting your account stops new requests for that profile. A request already received cannot be recalled.

The Accessibility service detects the foreground app and displays a question over apps you select, including when the Quizterview screen is closed. It does not read messages, passwords or screen content, or perform gestures. Selected-app identities and optional weekly usage reports stay on your device and are not sent to Railway or OpenAI. Accessibility is disclosed separately before opening Settings and only you can enable it. Usage access and notifications require separate authorizations. Pause protection or revoke these permissions in Android Settings.

Local text recognition uses Google ML Kit models bundled with the app. Google's documentation says the SDK may send Google technical device/app information, installation identifiers, feature configuration, input/output sizes, timing and errors for diagnostics and usage analytics. This does not mean uploading the original photos or documents. See ML Kit data disclosure and Google's privacy policy.

Google Play processes monthly and annual subscriptions. Our service verifies the product, purchase and validity with Google, binds access to your account and encrypts the purchase token. We do not receive card or banking details. Restore or manage subscriptions from Quizterview Pro. Account deletion does not itself cancel a subscription: cancel it in Google Play; cancellation is not required to request account deletion.

Your learning profile, downloaded questions, answers and preferences stay on the device. Signing out removes credentials and pauses protection but keeps local learning data. Settings → Delete my account removes the server account, sessions and linked records, and local data on that installation; recent sign-in may be required. Account-linked purchase and delivery records remain while the account exists to verify access, prevent duplicate requests and combat abuse. In-app feedback sends your entered text, app version and language through Resend to support. Your email, resume and history are not attached. Delivered support emails and data processed by providers are not automatically erased by uninstalling the app or deleting the account; request deletion and the providers' retention terms and exceptions apply. We do not sell data or include ads. To request deletion without installing the app, use Delete my Quizterview account.

Support message retention

Support message content is deleted 30 days after the case is resolved, unless a documented retention obligation applies. In that situation, only the necessary information is retained for the applicable period. You can request deletion of your messages before that deadline; we will verify ownership and explain any applicable exception. Deleting your account does not cancel an Apple or Google Play subscription.

This period covers content we retain to handle the case. It does not establish a retention period for OpenAI, speech services, Resend or providers’ backup copies, which require a separate review of their policies and configuration.

Voice interviews in iOS 1.1 and Android

Before each interview, we ask for specific permission to share your role, skills, saved vacancy if present, and answers with Quizterview on Railway and OpenAI. The original résumé and your account details are not added to these requests. Vacancies and answers may contain personal information: avoid unnecessary private details. OpenAI prepares questions, their synthetic voice and practice feedback; this is not a hiring decision or certification.

After you tap Start and authorize microphone and speech recognition access, the app listens after each question and automatically sends your transcribed answer when you finish speaking. On iOS, on-device recognition is requested where available; otherwise Apple may process audio. Android uses the device's speech recognition service, whose provider may process audio. Candidate audio is not sent to Railway or OpenAI and is not saved as a recording file. Apple’s processing and retention follow its Siri, Dictation and Privacy notice and the user’s settings; we do not promise to erase data Apple retains separately. Pause, leave, or use the keyboard instead. The app stops the microphone when you pause, leave or enter the background.

The conversation and evaluation remain in memory for that session and are discarded when you close it. Our backend does not save interview text and requests that generated responses are not stored. This does not remove independent retention by OpenAI, Apple or the speech provider under their policies and service configuration. See OpenAI's privacy policy and your device speech service notices. Interview permission does not authorize other uses of your answers.

Information specific to iOS

The following sections describe iPhone, Apple and Screen Time controls. Android controls are described above.

Your résumé and skills

The PDF or TXT you choose is analyzed on your iPhone. The original file is not retained or uploaded. Contact details are not extracted for questions. Your role, tools and skills are saved on your device and remain editable.

Personalized questions

With your permission, we send your role, tools, skills, professional areas, language and recent question topics to our service to generate questions and avoid repeats. The service is hosted on Railway and uses OpenAI. Your full résumé and protected-app information are not sent to the question-generation provider. Your account name and email are not included in question-generation requests. These providers process the necessary data under their applicable policies.

Downloaded questions and learning history stay on your iPhone. You can stop new requests in Settings → Privacy. This cannot recall a request already received by the service.

Study material and first-job practice

If you choose to study from photos or PDFs, pages are read on your iPhone. Original files and pictures are not sent to the generation service or retained in your learning profile. With a single personalization consent covering CV/skills, study, job descriptions and first-job details (including future documents until withdrawn), extracted text, page numbers, language and recent questions are shared with our service on Railway and OpenAI to create questions grounded in the material. Extracted text may contain information included in your notes: remove private details before importing. Extracted material and questions stay on the device. For first-job practice, you may share your desired role, studies, activities and skills without a résumé or previous work experience. Withdraw this permission in Settings → Privacy; erasing learning data also removes these materials and their local cache.

Guide retention in iOS 1.1

Your extracted guide text stays on the device, without a day-based expiry, until you replace or remove it. Replacing or removing the guide clears its local copies in saved questions, pending requests and guide-derived history text; progress counters are kept. If cleanup fails, the app shows the error and lets you retry. Erasing learning data or deleting your account also removes the material. This does not delete the original file in Photos or Files.

Our backend processes the text to generate and check questions; it does not maintain a guide archive. Replacing or removing a guide does not recall a request already received or delete records OpenAI or other providers may retain under their own controls and policies.

Job descriptions and the original CV

You can paste or import a PDF/TXT job description. With your consent its text is sent to practice its skills and concepts, without changing your CV or claiming you have that experience. To view your original CV we save only a local file reference, not a copy. If the file moves or becomes unavailable you must select it again. Erasing learning data removes the reference and job text, never the external file. Camera and Screen Time permissions are separate.

Screen Time

Authorization and app selection use Apple’s controls and opaque identifiers. Usage reports appear inside an isolated extension; those usage durations are not sent to our servers or OpenAI.

Access and security

Sign in with your name and email using a one-time code or link sent through Resend, or use Sign in with Apple. Our service stores your account name, email and identifier encrypted; for Apple accounts, it also stores the credential needed to verify and revoke that access. Sign-in email is sent to the address you provide. App credentials stay in the iPhone Keychain and connections use HTTPS. Signing out revokes that session on the server, removes its credentials from your iPhone and pauses protection while keeping local skills and history.

Subscriptions and purchases

Quizterview offers free access and optional auto-renewable Pro subscriptions. Apple displays the price and billing period, processes purchases and renewals, and lets you manage them in your Apple Account subscriptions. The app verifies access with StoreKit and stores its validity on your device to enable Pro; we do not receive your card details. Deleting your Quizterview account does not cancel an Apple subscription. Manage it from Quizterview Pro or iPhone Settings. Apple's standard terms apply.

Feedback and ratings

Sending feedback from the app shares your submitted text, app version and language with our service on Railway and Resend for delivery to support@quizterview.com. We do not attach your account email, résumé, material, history or diagnostics. The service keeps account-linked receipts and content hashes to prevent duplicate sends and abuse; these records are deleted with your account. Delivered messages remain in the support mailbox and are not automatically erased when you delete your account: contact support to request deletion. Ratings are handled by Apple; the feedback form does not send us an App Store rating.

Retention, deletion and permissions

Your profile, history and downloaded questions remain on the device until removed in Settings → A fresh start. Your server account remains until you delete it in Settings → Delete my account. Deletion removes account data and sessions from the service, along with the profile and history on that iPhone; Apple access is also revoked for Apple accounts. Login attempts expire within minutes and expired records are cleaned up during service use. You can withdraw personalization permission, pause protection and disable alerts. Contact support@quizterview.com for service or access requests. Hosting and generation providers apply their retention policies to data received; we do not promise retroactive deletion of information already processed by a provider.

This website

This landing page asks for no résumé or login details. Hosting processes the connection data needed to serve the page. We include no advertising or third-party analytics.
